‘Journalists’ Who Smear Assange Are Pure Scum
by Caitlin Johnstone
11-01-2021

I wouldn't have thought that any mass media reporters would have the temerity to continue the public smear campaign against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange after it became clear to everyone that he was the subject of a brutal Trump administration prosecution aimed at criminalizing inconvenient journalism. But if there was going to be anyone to take up that flag, it would be the odious James Ball.

Ball, who as activist Suzie Dawson documented in 2016 has been working within the plutocratic media to destroy Assange's reputation for years, has just published yet another disgusting smear piece titled "Julian Assange is no hero. I should know — I lived with him and his awful gang", this time with Murdoch's Sunday Times. Claiming that Assange is "Reckless and immoral in deed and word", Ball spins the tortured journalist as a monster who must remain marginalized and never be trusted by sources again.

This would be the same James Ball who, as Financial Eyes recently observed, "admits to having taken money from the Integrity Initiative, a government and NATO funded propaganda unit designed to shape opinion in a direction hostile towards Russia and favourable towards increased militarism."

It’s no secret that money talks but, in today’s anti-Assange hit piece, @jamesrbuk keeps very quiet about exactly what attracts him to the billionaire US oligarch Mr Rupert Murdoch. https://t.co/tRjsCr9zAd
— Financial Eyes (@financialeyes) January 10, 2021

This would also be the same James Ball who, a year before Assange was dragged out of the Ecuadorian embassy in which he'd taken political asylum fearing US extradition, authored a Guardian article titled "The only barrier to Julian Assange leaving Ecuador’s embassy is pride" and subtitled "The WikiLeaks founder is unlikely to face prosecution in the US, charges in Sweden have been dropped – and for the embassy, he’s lost his value as an icon".

"There is no public criminal case against Assange or WikiLeaks in the US," Ball argues in his January 2018 article, claiming there is "no real reason to believe anything has changed with Assange’s situation in the US."

Well something had indeed changed in the US. Assange was being spied on by US intelligence with Trump megadonor Sheldon Adelson acting as a liaison between the CIA and a private intelligence corporation, and in December 2017 the Trump administration had ordered Assange's arrest and begun orchestrating an international plot to enact it after the CIA Director branded WikiLeaks a "non-state hostile intelligence service."

If I had written an article in a major publication claiming there was "no real reason" to believe Assange would face extradition proceedings if he left the Ecuadorian embassy, and then that claim had proved horrifyingly wrong, I personally would have done what any normal person would do and shut the entire fuck up about Julian Assange for the rest of my life.

Not James Ball though. There's a certain type of personality that guarantees it will always fail upward because it possesses a remarkable combination of power-worshipping obsequiousness, a total lack of shame, and a complete lack of scruples. It's the same type of personality that still gets lucrative punditry work after pushing for the Iraq invasion. James Ball has no more business opining about Julian Assange than John Bolton has about the merits of interventionist foreign policy, yet both remain visible and vocal. Because they are the same kind of creature.

I'm pretty good with words, but I've never succeeded in finding any which adequately articulate the absolute depravity of the mass media smearmeisters who've spent years getting paid to churn out deceitful hit pieces about Assange while he's silenced and unable to defend himself. There's simply no one lower. There's shit, there's the shit that would come out of shit if shit could shit, and then there's people like James Ball.

I've worked a lot to debunk this smear campaign, and it's sucked because I know for a fact that Assange could have done an infinitely better job of it than I can if he still had internet access. He knows all the facts about his work inside and out, and could have knocked out the smears as they came.

But that was the whole idea. That's why they silenced him, long before they dragged him out of the embassy. The empire needed the public to consent to his persecution, and he was running interference on their consent manufacturing campaign. And now they kick him while he's down, continuing to stomp his reputation into the ground even as he's being unjustly locked in Belmarsh after a judge already blocked his extradition.

The torture and brutalization of Julian Assange has only been made possible by the fact that the public consents to it, and the public only consents to it because of a concerted mass media smear campaign that took place between late 2016 and his arrest in April 2019. People like James Ball are directly responsible for the empire's ability to make an example of what happens to a journalist who exposes US war crimes, and they must never be forgiven for it.

FBI warns of potential boogaloo violence during Jan. 17 rallies
Yahoo News - CAITLIN DICKSON
January 11, 2021

Federal authorities are warning state and local law enforcement about threats of possible violence by right-wing extremists at a seriesofprotests planned for later this month in Washington and in state capitols, according to an FBI document obtained by Yahoo News.

The situational information report, produced by the Minneapolis field office of the FBI, is based on information provided by what it describes as “collaborative sources,” and was issued the week before a mob of Trump supporters violently stormed the U.S. Capitol. It addresses concerns about rallies that the far-right boogaloo movement plans to hold in cities across the country on Jan. 17.

The Dec. 29, 2020, report warns that “some followers indicated willingness to commit violence in support of their ideology, created contingency plans in the event violence occurred at the events, and identified law enforcement security measures and possible countermeasures.” Specifically, the report describes evidence of credible threats related to events planned for Jan. 17 at the state Capitol buildings in Michigan and Minnesota.

Those rallies are part of what members of the violent far-right and libertarian boogaloo movement are hoping will be a nationwide “armed march” on Capitol Hill and all 50 state capitols next Sunday. Though it’s not totally clear how many people are expected to participate in the boogaloo-backed protests, the Jan. 17 eventsappear to be the next major organizing effort by extremist groups following the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, which left five people dead, including a U.S. Capitol Police officer.

The FBI’s warnings about possible violence at Jan. 17 protests carry new weight in light of the apparent failures by federal law enforcement to adequately prepare for the violence in Washington last week. The FBI and an intelligence unit within the Department of Homeland Security did not issue a threat assessment for the Jan. 6 protest, despite an abundance of evidence on social media in the weeks leading up to it showing that pro-Trump rioters planned to storm the Capitol, according to the Wall Street Journal.

ABC News also reported Monday that the FBI has issued an internal bulletin about plans for armed protests at the U.S. capitol and all 50 states starting this week and lasting through inauguration day. According to ABC News, the bulletin also described information the FBI has received about “an identified armed group intending to travel to Washington, D.C.” and calling for the “storming” of various state, local and federal buildings if President Trump is removed from office before inauguration day, on January 20.

According to the Dec. 29 FBI report, some Minnesota-based followers of the boogaloo movement attended protests earlier in December at the state Capitol in Saint Paul “to perform reconnaissance to identify escape points and defensible positions in the event violence occurred” at the Jan. 17 rally. These individuals reportedly “scouted general law enforcement presence” at the earlier rallies and “also identified law enforcement sniper locations and considered breaking into federal buildings for use as firing locations, if fighting occurred.”

“One Boogaloo movement follower indicated the building with the snipers would need to be blown up in order to protect Boogaloo fighters in the event of a gun battle during the event,” the report states. Another planned to “put colored duct tape on the back of his body armor to appear as law enforcement and cause confusion.”

Though the report notes that these Minnesota-based boogaloo movement supporters did not mention any specific plots for an attack on Jan. 17, it says they planned to use violence if fighting occurred at the rally, and “at least one follower expressed his willingness to die for the Boogaloo movement.”

Meanwhile, in Michigan, another follower of the boogaloo movement “suggested the idea of using a gasoline-based device with a tripwire in Lansing, Michigan to cause a distraction while other individuals ‘take’ the capitol,” according to the same FBI alert. This individual “considered himself at war with the government, particularly with politicians and federal agents, and wanted to make a statement with the actions.”

Public affairs officers for the FBI’s Minneapolis field office and the FBI’s national headquarters did not respond to multiple requests for comment, nor did spokespersons for D.C. Metropolitan Police and U.S. Capitol Police.

In an email to Yahoo News on Monday, a spokesperson for the Michigan State Police wrote, “In general, we don’t discuss security measures, but I can confirm that we will be increasing our visible presence at the Capitol for the next couple of weeks starting this morning.”

A spokesperson for the Minnesota State Patrol referred Yahoo News to a statement issued within hours of last week’s attack on the U.S. Capitol announcing that there would be “an increased presence of State Patrol troopers at the Minnesota Capitol in light of recent protests here and in Washington, D.C.”

Over the last two years, the term “boogaloo” has evolved from a fringe internet joke referring to a second civil war to an extremist rallying cry that has been linked to a growing number of violent incidents and plots. Though the term has also been appropriated by some “accelerationist” factions of the white supremacist movement, it is most closely associated with a disparate network of antigovernment extremists and paramilitary groups united by a fervent opposition to gun control and desire to bring about the violent overthrow of what they view to be a tyrannical government.

“Boogaloo movement supporters believe an impending insurgency against the government is forthcoming and some believe they should accelerate the timeline with armed, anti-government actions leading to a civil war,” said the December FBI alert.

Since the beginning of 2019, proponents of the more accelerationist wing of the boogaloo movement have seized on moments of civil unrest as an opportunity to incite violence and fuel chaos. Often heavily armed and sporting Hawaiian shirts and igloo patches, so-called boogaloo bois have been easily spotted at gun rights rallies, protests against lockdown measures aimed at stopping the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, and the nationwide demonstrations against police brutality and racial injustice sparked by the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis in May of last year. A number of them have also been arrested for violent acts or plots related to those protests, including an Air Force sergeant who was charged with fatally shooting a Santa Cruz County, Calif., deputy and a federal security officer during a protest in Oakland over Floyd’s death, and three men who were arrested in June for allegedly plotting to use firebombs and explosives to incite riots at a Black Lives Matter protest in Las Vegas.

The antigovernment militia members arrested in October for allegedly plotting to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer are also believed to have been tied to the boogaloo movement.

Recently, members of the boogaloo movement have begun organizing their own events.

Jared Holt, a visiting research fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab, through which he tracks extremist online activity, said he started seeing chatter in late November about a nationwide pro-gun rally in the boogaloo forums he monitors.

“The idea behind it was to have a huge showing of firearms and ... for it to take place all across the U.S.,” Holt told Yahoo News, adding that “this is among the first major national events that has come out of the boogaloo movement.”

Around the middle of December, Holt said that boogaloo organizers seemed to be trying to generate interest in the Jan. 17 protests from Trump supporters and other far-right groups by using hashtags like #StoptheSteal to promote the events on platforms like Parler. This effort has only escalated since the attack on the Capitol.

“This is a boogaloo-movement-organized call to arms that’s been spreading with increasing velocity outside of its usual communities,” said Holt, noting that he’s recently observed fliers for the Jan. 17 rallies circulating among many militia groups online, as well as “some run-of-the-mill Trump-supporting groups” and others protesting coronavirus lockdown measures.

Still, while the events certainly appear to have caught the attention of broader extremist movements, Holt noted that, so far, he and his colleagues have not seen the same kind of logistical planning for the Jan. 17 rallies, such as discussions about transportation and hotel accommodations, that raised red flags ahead of the pro-Trump gathering in Washington on Jan. 6.

“I definitely think that if it continues the way that we’ve been seeing, it could potentially and very quickly become an active threat,” said Holt.

Heidi Beirich, co-founder of the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism and the former longtime director of the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Intelligence Project, said she was encouraged to hear about the alert from the FBI’s Minneapolis division in light of the apparent failure by federal law enforcement to prepare for the violence that took place at the Capitol.

“I feel like the FBI and DHS completely fell down on the job before the 6th … which was embarrassing, frankly, given all the stuff that was on the web,” she said. “So I’m glad that they’re taking this seriously, because they need to.”

The fact that followers of the boogaloo movement are involved in the upcoming Jan. 17 rallies “is scary,” Beirich said.

“I think sometimes people look at them and think they’re some kind of jokey thing, with their Hawaiian T-shirts and all that. There is no joke about this group,” she said. “The boogaloo bois are very dangerous.”

Dozens charged in Capitol siege, including Florida man carrying Nancy Pelosi's lectern and Arizona man wearing fur hat and horns

Federal authorities continue to round up and arrest people charged in the deadly insurrection in the U.S. Capitol, including the man seen carrying House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's lectern.

Through Friday, the Justice Department filed at least 55 criminal cases tied to the riot at the Capitol that left five dead. Among the charges are: carrying a loaded hand gun and Molotov cocktails and making a threat against Pelosi.

The cases include more than 16 men and women facing charges in federal district court and 40 others arrested and charged in Superior Court in Washington, D.C.

USA TODAY will continue to update this story as additional charges are announced.

"We are far from done. The rioting and destruction we saw will not be tolerated by the FBI ... We will continue to investigate all allegations of criminal activity," said Steven D'Antuono, assistant director in charge of the FBI's Washington office. "Just because you've left the D.C. region, you can still expect a knock on the door if we find out that you were part of the criminal activity at the Capitol."

On Saturday morning, authorities arrested Jacob Anthony Chansley, a.k.a. Jake Angeli, of Arizona, the man seen wearing red, white and blue face paint and a bearskin headdress with horns in viral photos from the Capitol.

Chansley told authorities that he traveled to D.C. in a group "with other ‘patriots’ from Arizona, at the request of the President that all ‘patriots’ come to D.C. on January 6, 2021,” a charging affidavit accompanying the arrest warrant stated.

Cases are being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney's office and investigated jointly with the FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, U.S. Marshals Service, Capitol Police Department and the Metropolitan Police Department.

Adam Johnson, 36, of Parrish, Florida, was in the Pinellas County Jail on Saturday morning, on a warrant from the U.S. Marshal's office, Pinellas County Sheriff's office records show. A news release from the Justice Department alleges Johnson removed the speaker's lectern from where it had been stored.

Nick Ochs, co-founder of the Hawaii Proud Boys, was arrested as he landed in Honolulu on Thursday night, several media outlets reported. Others arrested Friday include Richard Barnett, a self-employed contractor from Arkansas photographed holding mail from Pelosi's office and Derrick Evans, a recently elected to the West Virginia legislature who resigned on Saturday.

The complaints make it clear the authorities were scouring Twitter and Parler accounts  as far back as November to gather evidence on those involved in Wednesday's insurrection.

Ochs is charged with one count of unlawful entry into a restricted building or grounds and the complaint notes he posted a photo to his Twitter account Wednesday afternoon of himself and another individual smoking cigarettes inside the Capitol. The complaint also cites his Wednesday night interview on CNN.

During the interview, Ochs said: “We didn’t have to break in, I just walked in and filmed.”  CNN also reported that Ochs said he was working as a professional journalist.

Timeline: How a Trump mob stormed the US Capitol, forcing Washington into lockdown

Ochs, a U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran, unsuccessfully ran for a seat in the Legislature last year, the Star Advertiser reported. His LinkedIn page stated he was vice chairman of President Donald Trump’s Hawaii campaign in 2016.

Barnett, 60, was photographed during the riot Wednesday holding mail from Pelosi's office. The self-employed contractor, nicknamed "Bigo," bragged on camera Wednesday outside the Capitol about how he was escorted out, but not arrested. Pelosi's office clarified on Saturday that the photos circulating of a man behind a staffer's desk and not the Congresswoman's desk as some reports indicated.

Not Antifa: Capitol mob drew Trump supporters of all stripes, from a fireman to a 'QAnon shaman'

Evans, the West Virginia legislator who recorded himself storming the Capitol, was arrested and charged with illegally entering the building.

Several documents filed Friday emphasized that a restricted building or grounds can include any posted, cordoned or otherwise restricted area where someone is being protected by the Secret Service or during  "a special event of national significance."

As the riot began, Vice President Mike Pence was presiding over a joint session to count electoral college results.

Federal prosecutors also announced charges for Lonnie Coffman, of Falkville, Alabama, who they say had 11 Molotov cocktail devices "ready to go" when he was arrested during the breach and riot at the Capitol on Wednesday. The homemade explosives contained gasoline and materials amounting to "homemade napalm.”

In a Justice Department press call on Friday, prosecutors revealed authorities responding to a separate report of possible pipe bombs found a pickup truck with Alabama plates. Inside were the Molotov cocktails, an M4 carbine and two handguns.

The bombs were constructed from Mason jars, golf tees and cloth rags, according to court documents. A charging affidavit filed Friday revealed Coffman was apprehended trying to return to his truck, despite a significant police perimeter surrounding the area, the Montgomery Advertiser reported.

Coffman isn't the only one with a weapons possession charge.

As Christopher Michael Alberts of Maryland was being escorted away from the Capitol on Wednesday, an officer noticed a bulge on Alberts' hip, a complaint stated. A closer inspection revealed two separate holsters, one with a 9 mm weapon with a single round in the chamber and a fully loaded 12-round magazine and the other with a second fully loaded 12-round magazine. Alberts also was wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying a backpack with a gas mask, pocketknife and an MRE.

Alberts told officers he was carrying the gun for personal protection and didn't intend to use it to harm anyone.

Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen said Friday the Justice Department would "spare no resources in holding accountable those responsible" for the murder of U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian D. Sicknick. No arrests have been made in that specific incident.

These are the charges filed in federal district court:

Massive troop movements, Trump issues FEMA order, were Dems tricked?
Situation Update, Jan. 12, 2021 – Sources FRACTURE on outcome: Is Trump winning at unconventional warfare?

Massive troop movements are under way as 15,000 National Guard troops are converging on DC. But once Trump declares the Insurrection Act, all those troops are instantly federalized and placed under his command.

Trump has signed a FEMA order that describes a massive event about to take place that would harm the population at large. We believe the deep state is threatening Trump with dirty bombs and nukes to be set off in US cities.

Natural News) The CIA clowns who spread deliberate disinformation across the ‘net are doing an outstanding job of pushing noise and confusion. As a result, my sources are have now fractured into split realities, where in one reality Trump has given up and surrendered while in another reality Trump is about to achieve a decisive victory and astonish the world.

In today’s podcast, I discuss both arguments for what’s happening now, and I lay out details on how the US Secret Service tried to set up Alex Jones to be arrested on terrorism charges in D.C.

Most importantly, I discuss whether the troop expansion in DC is actually part of an unconventional warfare strategy being carried out by President Trump and Chris Miller, the Secretary of Defense. If Biden isn’t inaugurated on the 20th, the radical Left will stage an attempted color revolution siege of Washington D.C., but thanks to these maneuvers by Trump and Miller, there are 15,000 troops in place with the support of the Democrats and the media. Perhaps they are being played and don’t yet realize it.

Here are the two Whitehouse.gov documents mentioned in the podcast:
President Donald J. Trump Approves District of Columbia Emergency Declaration
Executive Order on Addressing the Threat from Securities Investments that Finance Communist Chinese Military Companies

Here’s what else I cover in today’s podcast:

The FBI is planning to run false flag operations at state capitol buildings in order to further demonize conservatives and set the stage for nationwide gun confiscation.
The real story of how US Secret Service tried to set up Alex Jones to be charged with terrorism on Jan 6th. But they failed and Jones averted the trap. (This is based in part on my private phone call with Alex Jones yesterday.)
There has been a coup in America, carried out by the globalists, the deep state and the CCP.
My sources are now fractured, with some saying Trump has surrendered and others saying Trump will achieve a decisive victory.
The bad news sources say everyone around Trump is refusing to follow orders for fear they will be charged with treason.
The good news sources say Trump is still maneuvering for a decisive counterinsurgency attack against the coup plotters and deep state traitors.
Chris Miller of the DoD signed the order for 15,000 National Guard troops to be mobilized into the DC area.
Importantly, when Trump announces the Insurrection Act, all National Guard troops are federalized under Trump.
Note: We still believe Trump has already invoked the Insurrection Act, but this has not yet been made public.
Sources say Democrats and left-wing media were tricked into supporting a massive build-up of troops in DC because they mistakenly think those troops will protect Biden. In reality, they say, Trump will command them.
Most National Guard troops are loyal to Trump and despise Biden.
The Jan 6th “siege” theater at the capitol was necessary to acquire Pelosi’s laptop and also trick the Left into supporting a massive troop buildup in DC.
The troops are necessary to protect Trump from the “color revolution” attempt of the radical Left, which will activate the moment they see Biden not getting inaugurated.
No outcome is certain. There are two paths, and many traitors still inside the Trump administration. Trump’s own plans may be thwarted at the last minute.
Discussion of consciousness, God, divinity and the role of suffering for the journey of self-discovery.
Why the real war is beyond the 3D realm and exists in the realm of spirituality and consciousness.
Is humanity ready to move to a higher state of existence, paired with self-responsibility? Or will we stay stuck in the “infant” stage of fighting and suffering?

The House impeached President Trump for inciting a violent insurrection against the United States government
The New York Times - 13th January, 2021
By Noah Weiland

Welcome back to the Impeachment Briefing. In an unprecedented vote, President Trump was impeached for the second time.
What happened today

The House impeached President Trump for inciting a violent insurrection against the United States government, a week after a mob of his supporters stormed the Capitol.
The vote was 232-197, with 10 Republicans joining Democratic colleagues to impeach — the most ever from a president’s own party. Just over a year ago, Republicans voted unanimously against impeaching Mr. Trump. See how each representative voted.
A Senate trial is likely to begin after the inauguration. The departing majority leader, Mitch McConnell, signaled that he would not begin Mr. Trump’s impeachment trial before President-elect Joe Biden takes office. Here’s a guide to how the process works.

What lawmakers said
The House reconvened on Wednesday afternoon for an hourslong round of speeches from lawmakers. Here’s how some argued for or against impeachment.
“Donald Trump is a living, breathing impeachable offense.” — Representative Hakeem Jeffries, Democrat of New York.
“I will not use process as an excuse. There is no excuse for President Trump’s actions.” — Representative Dan Newhouse, Republican of Washington and one of the 10 in his party who voted to impeach Mr. Trump.
“They may have been hunting for Pence and Pelosi to stage their coup, but every one of us in this room right now could have died.” — Representative Jamie Raskin, Democrat of Maryland.
“Some say the riots were caused by Antifa. There is absolutely no evidence of that. And conservatives should be the first to say so.” — Representative Kevin McCarthy, Republican of California and House minority leader.
“He is capable of starting a civil war.” — Representative Maxine Waters, Democrat of California.
“If we impeached every politician who gave a fiery speech to a group of partisans, this Capitol would be empty.” — Representative Tom McClintock, Republican of California.
“Today we begin the long road to restoration. America has been through a civil war, world wars, a Great Depression, pandemics, McCarthyism, and now a Trumpist, white nationalist insurrection. And yet our democracy endures.” — Representative Adam Schiff, Democrat of California.
“Nearly half the country supports our current president. This takes their voice away.” — Representative Jeff Van Drew, Republican of New Jersey.
“Democrats can say, ‘You know, there needs to be unrest in the streets,’ while there is unrest in the streets. But they’re going to impeach the president for saying peacefully and patriotically, ‘Make your voices heard.’” — Representative Jim Jordan, Republican of Ohio.
“We said if we didn’t remove him, he would do it again. Simply put, we told you so. Richmond out.” — Representative Cedric Richmond, Democrat of Louisiana.

What the second impeachment means
I asked my colleagues Julie Davis, who edits our congressional coverage, and Carl Hulse, a longtime congressional reporter, what stood out to them about this second presidential impeachment.

JULIE: It was really clear that there was a big divide among Republicans. A number of them got up and vigorously defended the president and savaged Democrats for doing this, but most did not actually try to excuse his behavior — they just argued that impeachment wasn’t the answer.

Even the party’s leader in the House, Kevin McCarthy, essentially said the president had done wrong and deserved consequences for what happened. They sensed the political danger themselves for appearing to condone what Trump did. And yet most of them still did not feel that it was politically safe to vote to impeach him. Some of that might have to do with the fact that the president doesn’t have a Twitter feed anymore. It’s easier to speak out against him when you don’t expect a massive hail of presidential tweets coming at you.

What was also striking was that, by a factor of two, you had the largest margin of the president’s own party supporting his removal from office.
There was also so much symbolism today. You had all of this happening in a heavily fortified Capitol crawling with the National Guard, a week after the riot and a week before Biden is sworn in. The bunting was up and the brass had been polished for the inauguration. They’re spiffing up the building in all of the ways you do in anticipation of a new beginning. And yet here they were going about their business with these armed troops there to protect them against the loyal supporters of the departing president.

CARL: The two parties are just so far apart. It just seems like an unbridgeable divide. There was so little common ground even after an event like the riot. It makes me wonder what could possibly ever cause the parties to find common ground again.

One dynamic that really stood out to me today was Republicans being unwilling to abandon Donald Trump, even after he incited an attack on the Capitol. In the House, there’s a big reluctance to let go of Trump. Their voters are Trump voters. House districts are different than the whole states that senators represent. And I don’t think that these House Republicans are necessarily frightened of Trump; I just think they agree with him.

That House Democrats were able to impeach the president in two days also has me wondering if impeachment is going to be a standard thing when one political party is unhappy with the president. There was certainly cause for them to act against the president here. But the precedent has lawmakers I talk to very alarmed.

The scene inside the Capitol
My colleague Emily Cochrane, who was present during last week’s riot, encountered a shocking scene when she arrived at work this morning: the U.S. Capitol, filled with troops. She told me about what she saw.

Since last Wednesday, they have slowly been intensifying security. Fencing has gone up around the Capitol. This morning, the closer you got to the building, the more it seemed as if things had changed overnight. It seemed as if the National Guard presence had doubled.

As I went through security on the House side of the Capitol — a floor below where lawmakers themselves began crossing through magnetometers last night — the first sight I had was of members of the National Guard asleep on the marble floors, some curled around the statues, others tucked behind them. It was surreal.

Someone was saying, “All right, guys — time to get up, time to get up.” Their rifles were laid on the ground and against the wall, some of them rested on top of their bodies as they slept. There was a line of two dozen National Guard members waiting to get breakfast at a self-serve station. In the Capitol Visitor Center, they were sprawled everywhere. This was as close to a militarized Capitol as I could have ever imagined.

Last Wednesday, I was in the House chamber, and heard the rioters trying to get in. I saw guns drawn. I knew there was a breach. But it has only really been in the aftermath, when you step back and see the photos from across the building, that it really hits home how much worse it could have been. It underscored how dangerous last Wednesday was and how dangerous things could still become. They are preparing for the possibility that something might happen again.

The Biden' Ukraine Property Search on New Year's Day, 2021

On New Year's Day 2001 Delta Forces raided Joe Biden's 200 acre property in the Ukraine where they found a maze of underground chambers and tunnels that ran for miles in every direction. Bits of necrotic flesh hung from ankle and wrist shackles bolted to walls. The next day Joe Biden was placed under arrest and released wearing his own angle bracelet.
Siezed laptops were said to  be full of evidence of a massive child/human trafficking scheme - that appeared connected to other high powerful elites.

That long list is likely to include SCOTUS Chief Judge John Roberts, who has long been suspected of being blackmailed to make certain Supreme Court Decisions according to Trump attorney Lin Wood in a series of Tweets on Monday 4th January, 2021.
"Chief Justice John Roberta and a multitude of powerful individuals worldwide were being blackmailed in a horrendous scheme involving rape and murder of children captured on video tape. I have the key to the files containing the videos, others also have the encryption key"....Stated Trump Attorney Lin Wood.
". The blackmail targets are approached with a gun, a child and a camera",,, claimed Trump Attorney Lin Wood.
" The target is ordered to to rape the child on video. The target is then ordered to shoot the child on video. The target is then owned and controlled by the Blackmailers until the Blackmail Evidence loses its value."

Joe Biden's and John Robert's crimes against humanity appeared connected through the CIA, along with nine other agencies, including the FBI.
The Covert Agencies appeared to be running a human trafficking, gun and drug running ring which was used to  blackmail Political Elites.
All this was funded by US Taxpayer Dollars funnelled through the CIA - long known to have worked with Jeffrey Epstein and His Pedophile Island in blackmailing Political, Business and Global Elites.

On the Joe Biden Ukraine Property  the US Military seized $300 million in Gold Bullion, Chinese manufactured Type 56 Assault Rifle, tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition, laptops, and in the underground anti-chamber there were twelve duffel bags of Black Tar Heroin.

Trump's lawyer Lin Wood said,
" One of those Intelligence agencies was hacked by a group known as Uzard Squad. The blackmail files of rape and murder were obtained, A copy was provided to Isaac Kappy, Kappy gave the files to one friend and the encrypted key to another friend shortly before Isaac Kappy was murdered in May 12, 2019

Jeffrey Epstein used the same blackmail scheme of child rape and murder to either further his own interests or those of any intelligence agency with whom Jeffrey Epstien  worked. I have no idea of the full extent of the blackmail scheme of raping and killing children, but given the number of agencies involved, the hundreds of thousands of missing children, and the otherwise inexplicable actions of many powerful elites, celebrities and business leaders, I fear the worst.."

" Many issues in our world maybe tied to this blackmail scheme, including the bizarre behaviour of officials and judges in the recent USA Election."
The Ukraine Biden Property was found to be the headquarters of Paradine Global Advisors.

In later September of 2006, the Biden Family brought Paradine as a hedge fund and fired 95% of of the staff.
By June 2009, the company was found to be a slush fund for laundering money.

On Wednesday 6th January, 2021 at 8pm (EST), just prior to the Congress Meeting in the Electoral College, the Trump Legal Team was believed to be prepared to present  extensive documentation of voter fraud, along with proof of Joe Biden's and John Robert's  Crimes and their connections to Foreign Intervention in the US Election.
Though we didn't have to wait than long before the 2020 US Election, Joe Biden had already announced to the world,
Joe Biden says,
" we have put together the most comprehensive Voter Fraud Organisation in the history of politics, and you guys did it for the Obama Administration also,"
So this is what happens when you lose focus of two important things. .... God and the Constitution ... while another 'major shakeup' event occurs.... in reality another distraction has occurred....why are all eyes on The Federal Government to begin with? ... is the real question ....

To answer it we are going to pull from an amazing article that outlines ...how it is not all about the 'ants that are killing one another' (aka us).... but who shook the jar they were in before the fighting started ...you think you know the answer ...be careful if...

SPECIAL REPORT: Inside Joe Biden's corruption scandal and the social media cover-upspecial senate investigation has detailed how the son of presidential hopeful Joe Biden may have used his father’s position in the White House to amass wealth and power. The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs published the report titled ‘Hunter Biden, Burisma, and Corruption: The Impact on US Government Policy and Related Concerns’. Sky News Australia breaks down this 87-page document which examines possible conflicts of interest in foreign business while Joe Biden was vice president in Barack Obama’s administration. The report found that the Obama administration knew Hunter Biden’s presence on the board of the corrupt Ukrainian energy company Burisma was “problematic” and “interfered” in the “execution of policy” with Ukraine. The allegations are extraordinary – so much so that social media giants Facebook and Twitter sought to censor the story to stop it reaching voters in a manner Republicans have labelled brazen "election interference".

Five Nobel Prize winners have urged Donald Trump to “put a defining stamp” on his presidency by offering a pardon to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.

The outgoing President is under pressure to stop the prosecution of Assange over the leak of US military cables and classified documents a decade ago.

Assange’s supporters say he is being persecuted as a journalist, claiming the case against him poses a threat to the First Amendment protection of free speech in the US Constitution.

In his fight against being sent to America for trial, Assange claimed his extradition should be blocked because the case against him was being politically-driven by Trump and his allies.

But the activist is now looking to the Republican president to use a pardon to stop the case in its tracks.

Northern Irish peace activist Mairead Maguire, human rights activist Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, feminist campaigner Rigoberta Menchú, Iranian political activist Shirin Ebadi, and Austrian novelist Peter Handke have now signed a letter to Trump supporting Assange’s cause.

“We write to request that you put a defining stamp on your presidential legacy by pardoning Julian Assange or stopping his extradition”, they said.

“Assange has fought for truth and justice. His work with WikiLeaks has pioneered accountability in the media and exposed corruption, civil liberties violations in the United States and around the world, and the true cost of war.”

The five Nobel Prize laureates say the case against Assange “threatens the constitutional protections that Americans hold dear”, suggesting to Trump: “By offering a pardon, to put a stop to the prosecution of Assange, your presidency will be remembered for having saved First Amendment protections for all Americans.”

Assange is currently being held in the maximum security HMP Belmarsh as he awaits the outcome of his extradition trial.

He denies hacking claims around the release of the documents and cables in 2010 and 2011, which related to the Afghan and Iraq wars as well as detainees at Guantanamo Bay.

The US case is that Assange’s activities breached the Espionage Act, and he is accused of putting the lives of military sources at risk.

But he argues the information was release was in the public interest, and disputes suggestions that he was responsible for the identification of sources.

Assange’s fiancée Stella Moris used an appearance this month on the right-wing Fox News channel to put pressure on Trump to consider a pardon for her partner, claiming he would fall into “the hands of the Deep State” if put on trial in the US.

District Judge Vanessa Baraitser is due to rule on Assange’s extradition at the Old Bailey on January 4, 2021.

A decade after WikiLeaks website enraged Washington by leaking secret U.S. documents, a London court will begin hearings on Monday to decide whether Julian Assange should be extradited to the United States.

The Assange Extradition Ruling Is A Relief, But It Isn’t Justice

The Assange Extradition hearing has come to a close, for now. British Judge Vanessa Baraitser has ruled against US extradition for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, but not for the reasons she should have.

Baraitser’s frightening ruling supported virtually every US prosecutorial argument that was made during the extradition trial, no matter how absurd and Orwellian. This includes quoting from a long-discredited CNN report alleging without evidence that Assange made the embassy a “command post” for election interference, saying the right to free speech does not give anyone “unfettered discretion” to disclose any document they wish, dismissing arguments from the defense that UK law prohibits extradition for political offenses, parroting the false claim that Assange’s attempt to help protect his source Chelsea Manning while she was exfiltrating documents she already had access to was not normal journalistic behavior, saying US intelligence might have had legitimate reasons to spy on Assange in the Ecuadorian embassy, and claiming Assange’s rights would be protected by the US legal system if he were extradited.

“Judge is just repeating the US case, including its most dubious claims, in Assange case,” tweeted activist John Rees during the proceedings.

In the end, though, Baraitser ruled against extradition. Not because the US government has no business extraditing an Australian journalist from the UK for exposing its war crimes. Not because allowing the extradition and prosecution of journalists under the Espionage Act poses a direct threat to press freedoms worldwide. Not to prevent a global chilling effect on natsec investigative journalism into the behaviors of the largest power structures on our planet. No, Baraitser ultimately ruled against extradition because Assange would be too high a suicide risk in America’s draconian prison system.

Assange is still not free, and he is not out of the woods. The US government has said it will appeal the decision, and Baraitser has the legal authority to keep Assange locked in Belmarsh Prison until that appeals process has been carried through all the way to its end. Discussions on bail and release will resume on Wednesday, and Assange will remain imprisoned in Belmarsh at least until that time. Due to Assange’s bail offense which resulted from taking political asylum at the Ecuadorian embassy in 2012, it’s very possible that bail will be denied and he will remain imprisoned throughout the US government appeal.

The Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA), the Australian trade union to which Assange belongs as a journalist, has released a statement on the ruling which outlines the situation nicely.

“Today’s court ruling is a huge relief for Julian, his partner and family, his legal team and his supporters around the world,” said MEAA Media Federal President Marcus Strom. “Julian has suffered a 10-year ordeal for trying to bring information of public interest to the light of day, and it has had an immense impact on his mental and physical health.”

“But we are dismayed that the judge showed no concern for press freedom in any of her comments today, and effectively accepted the US arguments that journalists can be prosecuted for exposing war crimes and other government secrets, and for protecting their sources,” Strom added. “The stories for which he was being prosecuted were published by WikiLeaks a decade ago and revealed war crimes and other shameful actions by the United States government. They were clearly in the public interest. The case against Assange has always been politically motivated with the intent of curtailing free speech, criminalising journalism and sending a clear message to future whistleblowers and publishers that they too will be punished if they step out of line.”

Indeed, the ruling today was a huge relief for Assange, his family, and for all his supporters around the world. But it wasn’t justice.

“It’s good to hear that court has ruled against the extradition of Julian Assange but I am wary of the fact it’s on mental health grounds,” AP’s Joana Ramiro commented on the ruling. “It’s a rather feeble precedent against the extradition of whistleblowers and/or in defence of the free press. Democracy needs better than that.”

“This wasn’t a

It is good that Baraitser ultimately ruled against extradition, but her ruling also supported the entirety of the US government’s prosecutorial narrative that would allow for extradition of journalists under the Espionage Act in the future. The ruling is a significant step toward freedom for Julian Assange, but it changes nothing as far as global imperialist tyranny is concerned.

So the appropriate response at this time is a sigh of relief, but not celebration. The Assange case has never been about just one man; the greater part of the battle, the one we are all fighting, continues unabated.

That said, the message of the empire here was essentially “We totally coulda extradited you if we wanted, but you’re too crazy,” which sounds a lot like the international diplomacy equivalent of “I could kick your ass but you’re not worth it.” It’s a way of backing down while still saving face and appearing to be a threat. But everyone looking on can see that backing down is still backing down.

I think it’s a safe bet that if this case hadn’t had such intense scrutiny on it from all over the world, we would have heard a different ruling today. The empire did what it could to try and intimidate journalists with the possibility of prison for exposing its malfeasance, but in the end, it backed down.

I’m not going to take that as a sign that we’ve won the war, or even the battle. But it is a sign that our punches are landing. And that we’ve got a fighting chance here.

victory for press freedom,” tweeted journalist Glenn Greenwald. “Quite the contrary: the judge made clear she believed there are grounds to prosecute Assange in connection with the 2010 publication. It was, instead, an indictment of the insanely oppressive US prison system for security ‘threats’.”
